Meaghan Michaud

Staff | RVT Medical Program Manager

Originally from Nova Scotia, Meaghan had multiple pets growing up, but adopting her rescue dog Elliott in 2007 sparked her interest in becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician and giving back to the animal community. She is a graduate of the University of King's College Journalism program and graduated from the Seneca College Veterinary Technician program in 2015. She has been an RVT for more than 10 years, with both clinic and shelter experience, and ran her own mobile RVT business in Toronto. She's volunteered with both the Toronto Humane Society, their TNR clinic and Toronto Cat Rescue.

Meahgan has lived in Japan, Ireland, the UK and the United States. She lives with her husband, young son and their rescue pets, Emma the former racing dog and Louie the toothless cat. She loves helping animals in need and can be found in her spare time gardening, reading and going for hikes with her family.
