Saving 100 Cats from Hoarding 😿

We have an extremely urgent issue—we've been asked to save over 100 cats from a difficult hoarding case and these kitties are in very serious need.

The first group of 30 cats came to our rescue this week. There's pictures below, but we want to warn you these may be tough to see, so only look if you feel able to.

These kitties are sweethearts but they're in a very bad way—lots have had exploded eyeballs due to easily treatable eye infections not being cared for.

Many also have URIs and need dental work, likely due to infections damaging their gums and teeth. None are sterilized or vaccinated, and many are likely blind and will need both eyes removed

We're ready to take in all 100 cats and give them safe homes, but because of their very serious health needs we expect vetting costs will be over $300,000.

We're trying to raise $100,000 now to cover a large part of these kitties care costs.

They desperately need this medical treatment—can you help us save them?

We've already received 3 moms and litters, but more need our help. ❤️

We know they need need spay/neuter, vaccines, parasite treatment and URI medication, and unfortunately lots need eye enucleations too.

We also know more serious health problems will arise when they see our vets, like fractures, heart disease, heart murmurs, painful dental disease, and more.

We need to act now to save these cats, as we're their only chance for safe harbour.

But the fight isn't over once they've been seen by our vets partners. We desperately need more foster homes to take care of this many rescued cats at once.

If you don't already, please consider becoming a foster home through TCR to help us save these kitties and more.

Now is the time to do it—these kitties really need our help.
