The Merchandise Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the creation of new merchandise products to be sold on the TCR online store. They are also responsible for hiring any support volunteers, collaborating with the communications team to promote the store, fulfilling online orders, as well as overseeing the participation in events where merchandise is sold.
This position is a hybrid of working from home and going to the Volunteer Centre when needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the online store is up to date

• Fulfill online orders in a timely manner

• Work with the communications team to promote sales on social media

• Oversee the creation of new merchandise

• Decide on events to participate in and oversee the event

Qualifications & Expectations

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to travel to the Volunteer Centre in Etobicoke when needed

• Proficient computer skills

• Graphic design experience is an asset

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• A self-starter and reliable

• Creative and an out-of-the-box thinker

• Previous experience in a similar position is an asset

• Highly professional and the ability to lead a team

Training a new merchandise team lead takes time. As such, we ask that applicants be available to commit to at least 1 year of their time.
