Cookie *kitten*
DSH, grey tabby, female, vaccinated, DOB May 2010. "Fortune Cookie" was rescued from a feral colony in the West End of Toronto during an intense heat wave. She was one of three kittens born to the 14 year old Queen of this feral colony. Her mother had eluded rescue for many years. Cookie also proved very elusive. After numerous attempts by dedicated volunteers, Cookie was finally rescued on July 7, 2010. Sadly her siblings were not as lucky. Her mother was eventually rescued, spayed and then released back to the colony. Cookie was a very brave girl - being separated from her siblings and mother. Safely in her foster home, she quickly responded to human love and touch. She is a very gentle and sweet natured girl who loves to be carried and held like a baby. She loves having her tiny soft paws massaged. Cookie is a rare kitten - she is very calm and would prefer to sit beside you on a blanket as she plays with her toys. You won't find her climbing the drapes or darting from room to room. Cookie is a very polite kitten and understands "No" when she is getting into something she shouldn't. Cookie tries to communicate with you using her cute meow to get her message across - so listen when she talks because she is trying hard to tell you something! She loves resting in enclosed spaces, like her cat carrier, a tight corner or in the crook of your arm. She is excellent with cat friendly dogs and she travels well in the car. Cookie will start purring as soon as you walk into the room. Just your presence makes her happy! She also loves to be snuggled and showered with kisses. Cookie would do best in a house where someone is home during the day as she is a very affectionate kitten who thrives on love and attention.
