Koca
DSH, black, female, spayed, vaccinated, DOB January 15, 2009. Koca has a cute face with impressive white whiskers and perky little trot with her tail held high. She is amazingly friendly and confident - right in your lap and your face with love and big purrs. If humans are not around, she is sociable and playful with other cats, but the minute she sees a person, she forgets about everything else. Koca is always right there waiting at the closed door to dash through and get to her people. She reaches out to touch people (whom she does not even know) through the holes in the cat carrier. She kisses strangers. She purrs and comes running when someone even just looks at her or talks to her, even from a distance. She is not dominant or territorial with other cats, and she paid very little attention to big, snoopy, foster dogs in her foster home. She is still kittenish (but less crazy), and everything is new and thrilling for her. It is quite wonderful to think about the world through her eyes. Koca needs company in her new home. She is not an independent cat who can spend long blocks of time alone. In the best of worlds, she would have human and cat companions available 24/7. She doesn't even like to sleep alone, and she routinely worms her sweet way into someone's warm side/lap before closing her eyes. This would be a wonderful family cat for gentle children, although she may be too petite for real rough housing. Open your heart and home, and Koca will fling herself in.
