Akari *kitten*

DSH, dilute tortoiseshell, female, spayed, vaccinated, DOB March 30, 2010. Akari (Japanese for light) is a friendly, sweet, social little girl who gets along with everyone; including kids, cats and dogs. One of a litter of four kittens born in a greenhouse at a west end landscaping company. She loves the company of other kitties and can often be found chasing down a ball, wrestling, cruising for treats or talking her foster mom into a cuddle!

$175 adoption fee for each cat

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

TCR offers six weeks of free pet insurance for your newly adopted cat through Pet Secure. To activate your free pet insurance, please go to adoptsecure.ca or call 1-800-268-1169 within 10 days of adoption. We recommend that you activate the insurance when you bring your new family member home with 0you.

**All insurance questions and benefits should be directed through the pet insurance company and not Toronto Cat Rescue.**


To ensure that our cats & kittens go to responsible and loving homes, an adoption coordinator will conduct a short pre-adoption interview.
