Tessie
DSH, orange tabby and white, female, spayed, vaccinated, DOB April 6, 2009. Tessie was found living outside in a feral colony. As soon as her foster mom opened a can to feed the colony cats, Tessie can running and wrapped herself around her legs. She ate several cans of food before rolling over at her feet for some belly rubs. It became immediately apparent that not only was she not feral, but also nursing a litter of kittens. Several volunteers canvassed the neighbourhood for days looking for her kittens. Finally the hard work paid off and they came across a very kind woman that had taken the babies inside her home where Tessie could safely nurse them. Tessie's babies have all been adopted and now it is Tessie's turn to find a loving permanent home. Not only is she beautiful, but she is incredibly sweet and well mannered as well. She is calm, gentle, quiet and very loving. Tessie loves people - all and any type of people! She is perfect for a single-cat family as she would be fine being alone while you are out of the home! She does not like dogs or other cats, but is used to children. Tessie would make a wonderful addition to a family looking to add a furry member to their home.
