Cleveland
Chocolate point balinese siamese, male, neutered, vaccinated, DOB April 7, 2007. Cleveland is a very handsome gentleman with his deep beige, long, silky coat with chic chocolate high socks and face with blue eyes. Cleveland came to a high kill shelter with Connie (a balinese female) and both were scheduled to be euthanized. Even though they were admitted as strays, to us they look more like a breeding pair from some basement-breeder who decided to get rid of them. This theory could explain why they were so little socialized and reliant on each other, despite being in good health and shape. Cleveland and Connie are a bonded pair, so they need to be adopted together. This pair is on the shy side, but are coming out of their shell. They explore their foster home, have started meowing for food and spend days lounging on chairs or curled together in a cozy, quiet spot. Cleveland will let you carry him, but Connie gets scared when picked up, so some reassuring patting is better for her. They are good with other cats, but are still very afraid of the two large dogs in their foster home. They need a quieter household. Since they are so close, they will keep each other company when you're working long hours. They're both healthy and clean, but their coats will require some brushing. They eat well - both wet and dry food and have clean litter box habits. They will need patient, cat experienced people to help them come around. Would you consider giving this loving couple a chance at a happy life together?
