Buffy

DMH, black marble and white, female, spayed, vaccinated, DOB October 5, 2009. Buffy is a sweet little darling who just loves life and her human companions. Rescued from a cage at a facility where animals are routinely euthanized, she has grown into the most remarkable little creature. If made into a cartoon, she would be the perfect little puddy-tat. Her silky soft fur, huge bright green eyes, fluffy squirrel like tail, and the longest whiskers both from her mouth and above her eyes along with the tufts of fur from inside her ears make her a real cutie pie. She's even begun to change colour (which the vet says is okay as she is young and it does occasionally happen). Her jet black fur has started turning a greyish white at the roots, so now she has a marbled effect going on, too funny but not a surprise to her foster mom who thinks that Buffy truly is the most unique cat to ever come to her home! Buffy absolutely loves people - all people. She insists upon human contact and lots of it. She is a very vocal little lady and likes to talk to you and expects you to talk back. What makes her so truly adorable is the fact that she has taken four little ladies under her wing and become a surrogate mom to Indie, Tink, Muffin, and Meadow. When these kittens joined the foster home, Buffy would not hear of being kept away from them. She insisted on getting in their room and taking care of them. Grooming, cuddling, kissing, helping them when they had trouble in the littler box - you name it and she has been there for them every step of the way. And now that they are bigger she gets to have fun with them. You'll see her cleaning one of the girls and then all the sudden she'll start swatting at the kittens tail and playing. She is still very young herself and very much a kitten, so she would love to have a companion to live with in her forever home. She is the sweetest, gentlest soul and if you've been searching for 'just the right kitty' then Buffy is the gal for you!
